An emergency bankruptcy filing is sometimes necessary to immediately stop garnishments, repossessions, evictions, and foreclosure actions. When emergencies happen, they can wreak havoc on your day-to-day life and interfere with your ability to support yourself and your family. If you have recently lost or are about to lose your home or car, or if your wages are about to be evicted or garnished, an emergency bankruptcy stops everything and gets you back in control.
Dennery bankruptcy law can file an emergency bankruptcy petition with only the most basic financial information and documents. After the filing, you will have time to gather more information necessary to complete the petition. Filing for bankruptcy does require some work on your part. But you can stop collection actions in their tracks by taking three easy steps.
Filing an emergency Chapter 7 is especially helpful when you are about to be evicted, if your car is about to get repossessed, and to stop a garnishment.
ROUTINE CHAPTER 7 SERVICES: Our normal fee to complete a routine chapter 7 is $1,135, we add $115 when the filing is an emergency. We can file your petition and represent you for the entire duration of the case with a retainer of $995.
EMERGENCY CHAPTER 7 – ONLY $435
If you cannot afford $995 before the date of an imminent eviction, we can file an emergency chapter 7 for as little as $435. The fee includes a bankruptcy specific credit report, the cost of preparing and filing your petition before the date scheduled for the eviction, and a portion of the filing fee. After you file, we can complete your bankruptcy case for three monthly payments of $335, which include the full payment of the filing fee. (We reserve the right not to offer emergency bankruptcy services to persons who are not likely to succeed in a chapter 7, as determined by us when we discuss your situation).
