Bankruptcy attorney, J. Christian Dennery, focuses his practice on helping Northern Kentucky individuals and small business owners achieve their financial, professional, and organizational objectives.

Christian, along with his partner in all things, Dolores, opened their first business in 2000 and their second by 2003. Christian then began leveraging his business acumen to the benefit of a variety of small business owners and entrepreneurs, whom he served as a consultant. Together Christian and Dolores owned and operated several restaurants in Brooklyn, NY until 2006.

Kentucky Bankruptcy Attorney Florence Covington KYBeginning in 2009, Christian immersed himself the study of the law. Christian focused his studies on commercial law, and remained active as a legal clerk for a fast-paced creditor rights firm, and as an intern with the Bankruptcy Court of the Southern District of Ohio.

As a new lawyer, Christian was employed with the City of Covington, KY, where he was  promoted from Law Clerk, to Senior Law Clerk, to Assistant City Solicitor, to Interim City Solicitor within his first year of employment. While with Covington, Christian was trusted as the lead negotiator and drafts person for complex real estate and vendor transactions. Moreover, Christian devised and implemented innovative programs, which facilitated the transfer of blighted properties to community minded residents.

Through his practice, bankruptcy attorney J. Christian Dennery pursues his passion for expanding his skills and expertise in civil litigation, real estate law, consumer law, bankruptcy law, and business transactions.

Dolores Dennery’s experience ranges from that of a performing artist, to a co-owner / operator of neighborhood restaurants, to being an invaluable member of a legal department in a corporate setting. From 2000 to 2006, Dolores along with her husband, Christian Dennery, owned various restaurants, managed over 40 employees at any given time, negotiated commercial leases and contracts, and oversaw the operations of all facets of a demanding business enterprise.bio-page

Dolores is comfortable negotiating with banks, insurance companies, vendors, and with finding resolutions to issues with licensing agencies, including state and local liquor authorities, health departments, and state and federal taxing authorities.

Dolores returned to the region with her family in 2007 and worked as a general manager for a local restaurant group and as a contemporary dance instructor at the School of Creative and Performing Arts. Dolores discovered her love for the practice of law, and by 2014 Dolores graduated from University of Cincinnati College of Law.

While in law school, Dolores interned with the deputy general counsel for Scripps Networks Interactive. Within a year, she was hired by the company and served as the primary legal resource to the digital and information technology operations departments. Dolores is comfortable reviewing, negotiating, and drafting all manner of technology and intellectual property contracts, including without limitation SaaS license agreements, master services agreements and related statements of work, service level agreements, support and maintenance agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and independent contractor agreements in the vendor-vendee context.

Dolores is pleased to re-enter the small business arena with husband and partner and considers herself blessed to have been given the opportunity to serve the Northern Kentucky community. Dolores’s favorite past times include checking out new restaurants, going to the ballet, and most of all spending time with her family and loved ones.
